Friday, September 26, 2025, will be a P.A. Day at York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) elementary and secondary schools.
In accordance with the Ministry of Education’s Regulation 304, “School Year Calendar, Professional Activity Days,” the YCDSB is providing the following summary of staff activities for the P.A. Day on Friday, September 26, 2025.
YCDSB P.A. Day: Friday, September 26, 2025 – Faith Day & Training Modules
On Friday, September 26, 2025, all YCDSB staff will participate in our annual YCDSB Faith Day. This day provides all staff the opportunity to come together as a faith-filled community and focus on adult faith development.
School administrators are tasked with facilitating a morning of team-building activities and exercises grounded in our Catholic faith, focusing on tangible and concrete connections to personal faith development.
In the afternoon, staff will participate in Human Resources module training focusing on the safety and well-being of all staff, students and community members (e.g. accessibility, workplace harassment, workplace violence, child protection and abuse, and work health and safety).
