San Lorenzo Ruiz Catholic Elementary School has once again partnered with the Markham Food Bank to engage in collection of non-perishable food items in an effort to help fill the shelves and hopefully, bring hope to the lives of those most in need in our community. Our students have created posters, we have been making announcements, and we are inviting donations from our partners and families.
During the week of October 6 to 9, we will be accepting donations at the front door of the school facing Bur Oak Avenue. The Markham Food Bank will drop off bins for collections in the morning and pick up after 1:00 PM everyday. Please consider making a non-perishable food donation including:
Canned Sardines
Crackers
Jame
Baby Formula
Evaporated Milk
Hot Cereal (Oatmeal, cream of wheat)
Kraft Dinner
Pastas and Sauces
Our school community has always been generous in the past and during this month of compassion, we are being called to once again offer any support, large or small, which will help those in need. Thank you for your generosity and support.
