Terry Fox School Run

There are few greater examples of courage and determination to draw from our Canadian heritage than Terry Fox. His monumentally selfless effort to initiate the Marathon of Hope continue to be celebrated in our schools and in the efforts of our staff, students and community partners. At San Lorenzo Ruiz, we participated on September 29 by running, jogging and walking as a community.

Celebrating San Lorenzo Ruiz of Manila

The Feast Day of San Lorenzo is September 28. This year, we celebrated our namesake with a virtual mass where Father Dominic was able to attend at school and turn the gymnasium into a sacred place of song and reflection. Virtual Scholastic Book Fair

We are excited to be engaging in the virtual Scholastic Book Fair from February 15 – February 28.  The opportunity to explore books provides families with alternate activities to promote literacy, leisure time hobbies, and enriched learning environments. For students, this is an opportunity to access resources of interest, or to explore different genres of literature.
