Each year, the Catholic community of Ontario engages in a week-long celebration of the unique identity and distinctive contributions of Catholic education during Catholic Education Week. This year’s celebration is entitled, “Catholic Education: Igniting Hope” and will be celebrated during the week of  Monday, May 3rd  – Friday, May 8th.

San Lorenzo Ruiz is participating in a school wide “JUST READ” Reading challenge.  Each SLR Student has been given the challenge of reading every day! FDK- Grade 4: Instructions are very simple, read a book, record it on your SLR “Just Read” Log and have parents initial beside the book title or article title, and after 100 books you will collect a prize from Principal ... Students engage in bi-weekly Monday Math Problems to work collaboritavely towards achieving Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations as 21st Century learners.  Students then take a math walk in the hallways of San Lorenzo Ruiz to understand how others solve math equations, and build their Global Competencies.

Please join us for our Primary Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 1:15pm.  FDK- Grade 3 students, along with our Junior Choir, will help chime in the spirit of Christmas.  Please join us!
